The Liberal Nationals are committed to investing in schools to ease the local population squeeze and massive projected increases in enrolments around Melbourne.
That’s why an elected Liberal Nationals Government will commit $13.4 million towards new class rooms and sporting facilities at St Helena Secondary College.
Labor has been in government in Victoria for 15 of the last 19 years, and has failed to provide for the school’s needs.
The Liberal Nationals will give parents a choice about their children’s education, by ensuring that there is modern infrastructure at local schools.
Only the Liberal Nationals will get back in control of population growth and back St Helena Secondary College so that local students can get the very best education.
Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:
“Out of control population growth caused by the Andrews Labor Government’s lack of planning is placing enormous pressure on our schools like St Helena Secondary College.
The Liberal Nationals are committed to investing in schools to ease the local population squeeze.”
Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Eltham, Nick McGowan:
“St Helena Secondary College is a valuable part of our local community.
These extra facilities will make a big difference to local students, teachers and families.”
